What can I expect petsfly.com to do for my animal and myself?

petsfly.com provides a wide range of services including flight arrangements, pick up, delivery, boarding during your move, import permits, USDA and other documentation that may be required for the move. We can also provide the shipping kennel for your animal and make sure that it meets or exceeds all standards and regulations required.

What size kennel will I need?

The airlines have strict regulations for the kennel sizes needed to ship your pet. At a minimum, your pet must be able to stand up completely, without touching the top of his head on the kennel. Your pet must also be able to turn around and lie down comfortably. The kennel needs to be made of hard rigid plastic and needs to have a metal door. Ventilation holes must be present on all four sides for an international move. We can advise you on the correct size kennel to use for the move.

When should I get started?

Simple answer – As early as you can!! Typically, we can get all arrangements made within 2 weeks but during busier times, there may be problems with flight availability.  Also, many countries have entry requirements that require us to start up to 7 months prior to the pet’s relocation date.

What kind of pets does petsfly.com ship?

We specialize in shipping household pets. Along with cats and dogs, we also can arrange transportation for ferrets, birds, reptiles, snakes, turtles and pocket pets. In addition, we may be able to refer you to someone who will move your larger animals.

Why shouldn’t I do this myself?
