petsfly.com is registered with the US Department of Agriculture as an intermediate pet handler. We are also members of the Independent Pet and Animal Transportation Association International (IPATA).
petsfly.com began in May of 1995 in Denver, Colorado as The Pet Chauffeur. The company originally provided only local transportation to and from veterinary clinics and hospitals, grooming establishments, and boarding/daycare facilities. In November of that same year, The Pet Chauffeur began to also provide airport transportation back and forth via Denver International Airport. By February 1998, The Pet Chauffeur had begun to provide full service relocation arrangements for a fast-growing number of clients. In 2000, The Pet Chauffeur opened its first satellite branch in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later that same year, Dallas, Texas was the target, and the petsfly.com moniker and logo were created.
